Re: ITR wheel on Accord: 3mm Wheel Spacer 4x114.3? How much Caliper to grind??
RE: ITR 4x114.3 wheels on 94 Accord
I found 5+mm spacers at options.com in 4 x 114.3mm - out of stock. However, no <5mm availible.
Doing a google search there was a company out of England with aluminum 3mm. Looking for more local place/importer though.
Ack. At about $55 a piece from Options, $220 for a set, it's almost not worth it unless the rims come super cheap.
Anyone know how much the calipers need to be grinded for the wheels to fit? Is it just the fronts?? Or the rears calipers too? Thanks...
Edit: Also, anyone know how badly the track/turn-in and balance of the car will be affected with an offset change of 3mm?

you can do what i did and hit up your local custom wheel shop for some spacers. I got mine for $5 a wheel.
When you used the spacers did you have to put in longer wheel studs for your lugnuts? Is 3mm short enough NOT to put in new studs?
i have been running 5mm spacers without extended studs for a year now. No troubles. I wouldn't go any higher than 5mm without longer studs though.

Did you have to grind the caliper on a 4th gen?

i have the ITR wheels on my car...i didn't not have to grind the caliper of any sort or have the need for a spacer? so i don't know what's up with that info.
Maybe a different caliper, don't know if all cb7's came with anything BUT the Nissin calipers. Possible difference in 90-91 vs. 92-93???
Just picked up my set of those 96spec rims today.
there's a clearance issue in the front brake, a 3mm spacer should do it.
local wheel place see those for 5 dollar each
it's for my 4 banger 6th gen coupe btw
