Default D15b vtec rod/piston combo that doesn't require boring the block?

I bought a '95 Civic coupe with a JDM d15b vtec swap in it and I plan to turbo it (8-10 pounds of boost) on stock internals first and then build the motor when I get all my parts together. I've done A LOT of research and it seems as though to run certain aftermarket forged pistons and rods, I have to have the block bored out for clearance or have a custom set of rods/pistons made. I'd rather not have to bore out the block because the car is my daily driver and I'm not looking for anything crazy fast; just something quicker and more fun to drive so does anyone know any piston/rod combo I could run without having to bore out the block? I've seen a lot of people use Vitara pistons, but I think they knock or scrap against something if you don't notch the block. Does it actually sounds that bad if you don't notch the block? Are there actually any pistons/rods I could use without having to bore the block? Any suggestions or ideas anyone?

it would be a just a notch on either side of the bottom of cylinder, no boring to whole cylinder, can keep it standard size, recomend p2p0.com check out there custom rods for vitara pistons only, says requires minimal to no block notching, tho it isnt very hard i notched my block within about an hour just be sure to clean it thoroughly

http://p2p0.com/#!/P2P0-USDM-D15B-Vi...tegory=1439050 Here you go direct link to rods, then get the $99 vitara piston kit, some acl aluglide main/rod bearing and thrust washer kit $46.99 ebay, take bare block to machine shop to clean up and resurface, then u got a built short block about $500

Save your money, buy a d16z6 or y8 and build it on the side. While you daily the d15b. Save your money for forged rods and Pistons. Skip the vitaras.

The JDM D15B vtec is actually a bit stronger than the D16Z6. It also shares the same larger main journals of the Z6. I believe the cranks are interchangeable unlike the other D15's with the smaller main journals.

The vtec JDM D15B is the same thing as the D16Z6 as far as I understand. Might be slightly shorter deck height so higher compression is easier done with de-stroking the motor.

And the Y8 is the worst of the bunch of vtec motors with it's single oil holes in the journals. Spins bearings more religiously over the JDM D15B vtec and the Z6.
