I'm looking for the carbon effect double-din blanking plate but cannot find one in the U.K. I am wondering if Acura or Honda still stock them in the U.S? If that's the case then would anyone be willing enough to get one for me? I can PayPal the funds in advanced & some extra for beers. Would also need to arrange postage to the U.K, of course I will pay that too.

They were never a USDM part. Try a JDM importer.

No USDM ITR came without a radio.

Where abouts was that? Ebay or something? I felt like it was expensive when i grabbed one for like $45 USD a few years ago...

 

yeah, the faux carbon double DIN block off plate is very pricey, if you can find one. Stock is limited and I believe the cat is outta the bag so anyone with one will want big bucks for it. The standard OEM plastic version is readily available though..

 

This. I just got the regular black one for $23.75 from ICB Motorsport. I'm sure they could arrange shipping to the UK if you called them.

Back to the subject. Ive been looking for those too and gave up as they are so rare and if available, too expensive. Sadly, most parts for the car are becoming discontinued. I dont even want to imagine what prices would be like a few years from now. I think I saw an ad for floor and trunk mats for over 1k. My jaw broke when it hit the floor...

 

I don't understand the demand for the optional trunk mat. Might be good to stock up on ITR specific wear items.

I was a bit worried when the exterior decals were on back order recently.

 

Woo! I hope they don't run out of those! I may need some after a repaint. As for the optional trunk mat, it's a nice to have but I not drop $1.8k on that. Ridiculous!

I bought one a few years ago and already payed way too much money for it. Been looking for a second one since but haven't found anything yet.
Might be looking in the wrong place, but they're rare indeed.

If I ever find the double din Gathers ITR faux carbon radio for a decent price I'll probably sell the block off plate.
