Looking for broken CRX cluster
Anyone have a CRX ('89) gauge cluster that is broken for whatever reason? I either need the faces out of it (speedo, tach, and temp/fuel) or high quaility scans of the faces.
Someone already sent me some modified faceplate scans, the only problem was that they didn't indicate where the center hole was to be cut. I don't wanna destroy my spare working cluster for this.
Additionally, anyone who has installed white faced gauges or indiglow gauge faces, how did you install the center section (temp/fuel), since you have to install the faces over the needles, with them both pointing towards each other it seems there would be a problem getting the face over it.

You can take off the needles. Pry with two spoons, 90* from each other. Place the bottom of the spoon on the screw (to prevent cracking the gauge face) and pry up by pushing down on the handle. It works for all the needles. You have to push really hard, but it works. Expect the fuel gauge shaft to pull out with the needle, it has for all the clusers I have done, but it doesn't hurt anything.
