Before anyone even comments, The car already run's and has ran a 9 sec pass. Last year that is. I ran a 9.8@158.xx on Slicks. lol.

Yes i know the trap is high, yes i know it should run deep 9's. At this point i don't really care, i wanted to run a 10 sec pass how the car sits and drives around. I finally did it lol.

Last year the Fastest the car had been on this exact same tire was a 11.3x@147.

Since last year i have changed from a Hondata S300 with TC to a MOTEC M130 withg a JRR FWD Package that him and i work on together.

Changed from a Precision 6466 to a T3 6870 with a 1.06 housing.

I now have a 5 speed Dogbox vs the Stock trans it had last year.

As far as power, the car makes 1024whp@52psi spike dropping to 47psi out the top.

I have been to the track on Street tires a couple times this year.

First i ran a 11.27@154mph:

Then i went to Ohio for the Buschur shootout a couple weeks ago and ran a 11.08@156.

Finally, i did it. Went to my local dragstrip on Saturday.

I will see if i can get a video of it. Car was OFF Traction control all of 3rd and 2nd gear (I've found even off TC it is FASTER than dead hooking at a lower power level).

All of this was done without a BURNOUT. Just rolled up to the starting line and off i went.

I really admire what you are doing with your car and the limits you are pushing. Who would have thought a Honda could do all of this?! If you don't mind me asking, what was the reason for switching from Hondata to Motec? Was it for traction control, datalogging, failsafes, more power, etc? Keep up the good work!

You pretty much answered that one yourself. More control was the biggest thing for me. Boost control is SOLID, TC is SOLID, Logging is solid, Failsaves are solid. Everything about it is beyond badass. It was also really easy to do, i was pretty stoked at that part of the Motec.

The more I hear about Motec the more I want to pull the trigger on one. One more question. Are you using a MAC-based BCS or one from Motec?

Dual 3 port Mac solenoids. They are mostly all essentially the same anyway! haha

If you do plan the go the Motec route, i would strongly suggest the M1 route. The package i have is honestly pretty nice.

Feel free to call the shop, 360-210-7484 Ext 9 and ask for Myles and i can go through and let you know everything it has to offer.

No disrespect and maybe I am ignorant, but trapping 160mph and barely breaking into 10's just seems.....(how to be tactful with this)....a high ET. Are you running boost by gear? If you are not then I completely understand. You are running fairly sticky tires too. Again I am just legitimately curious here. I gotta say 160mph trap is impressive though. Thumbs up.

Have you or anyone else in a FWD car ran 10's on a R888? No didn't think so lol.

Really this ET and MPH are crazy for the tire i am on.

The car ran 9's @158 a year and a half ago will much less power and on Hondata and on a stock transmission. So i know the car will run deep into the 9's maybe 8's on slicks. But there has always been something about driving to the track without a tire swap or anything and run a 10 sec pass.

So basically, yes 159mph is crazy to only run a 10 sec pass. BUT when you factor in what tire i am on, it is impressive on its own.

I always wondered what a honda with traction control would do on a radial. Hope you keep at it and get deeper in the tens. And get some videos!

What's your fuel setup if you don't mind sharing?

Yeah it is a lot harder than most people think. A Radial would be easy to faster on, honestly i bet with the right radial i could run a 9 sec pass. All it would take is a 1.7 60ft...

Yes running boost by gear, and traction control all together.

Duall 044's in Parallel, Single set of 2150cc injectors, 55psi base pressure and E75 E98/C16 fuel.

I am out of fuel, as in the injector duty is 110+.
