Need help honda tech! I have a b20 i swapped into a crx it has chipped p06 ecu and as far as i know i have every ground bolted down ive checked each one about 5x times already! I changed the started and jumped it directly and the motor will try and start but as far as with the key it does this..when you turn it all the way to try and start it cuts off the radio and the ac if you have it on but the dash lights stay on and do not dim or anything like that. Im stuck any help is appreciated

Sounds like you did the bypass jump and the engine cranked, [starter motor worked] but did not start, "the motor will try and start but" because it wasn't turning over fast enough or you did not have the ign. switch turned on to run? 94

 

Yeah i will try that test light diagnosis to see if im getting power to the starter switch..the motor cranks but wont turn over thats a completely different issue (i didnt have gas) i had the key all the way turnt i have done this many times to test starters but im stuck because if you turn the key to try and start you dont even get a click or no noise at all just the radio and ac cut off

 

Also check the CIS, [clutch interlock switch or the "stopper" that pushes the switch pin in when you step on the clutch pedal. 94
