1998 b20 swap wont start!
I put my key in the ignition, all the dash lights came on like they are supposed to, i turn the key and hear a single click or basically nothing
the battery is good its a brand new yellow top, the starter should be good it is pretty new too, i have no idea what the problem is
some days it will start up no problem and then other days it wont try to start at all
any help?
also is the starter solenoid on the starter?

Does it turn over? if it does check if you have spark, That happened to my B20. At first it would take 4ever to turn on and somtimes not at all. It might be your dizzy(distributor).

make sure all of your grounds are clean. u should have 3: the thermostat, one on the valve cover and one going from the transmission to the chassis.
my car would not start because a ground was disconnected.

hey what i would suggest is check your grounds make sure that they are not 2 long, then check where they are grounded to make sure there is no paint. if that dosent help out a bit when ever it wont start just jut a small piece of wire, clip the ends and look on the starter u will see 2 rubber cover on 2 sets of wire unplug the bottom one and remove the cap on the top one.then place one end of the wire on the top one and the other side inside the starter where u unplug the other wire from but before dong all that make sure that the keys are turned in the on position when u do that if the car starts then the starter is good and its probably not getting enough ground here is a link that shows u the wires with the cap
