So as i was driving i hard this slow cracking noise. I kept on driving and i just heard like the loudest crack noise ever so i looked in my mirror and turns out i saw one of my cars pipes behind me ..so i looked under my car and the whole hing is broken. The cataylic coverter is hanging ..see the pictures below.




So i need help .. What can i buy to make more HP? (the most cheap brand that i can pass an inspection test with) or should i just buy another muffler kit at least until after the inspection/Registration Then go for Headers/muffler/exhaust kit for more HP if so what can i get for the future? ( I like the burnt tip exhausts) and where would i buy a fully OEM muffler kit for cheap?

 

Any muffler shop should be able to set you up, any "performance" exhaust kit will cost you $1000 and more, [a good one that will actually make a difference. not just be louder] 94

 

I would get a stock or magnaflow cat and shop around for that and then a catback. A good quality catback like skunk2 or tanabe. Total cost for mine was about 800 shipped but well worth it. No buzzy sound nice deep tone and no more issues with crappy heavy factory exhaust.
