This morning I drove my car to work. I turned off the motor when I arrived, but had to move to another parking spot about 5 minutes later after and the it would not start. All the electronics in the car worked just fine, but gave it a jump start anyway, and the car started just fine. Took the battery in the get it checked later that evening at Autozone and it tested normal. Any ideas what could be causing this to happen? Gave me the same trouble about 5 days later.

 

Get a voltage meter and measure the voltage of the battery when the car's off. It should be around 12.6. If it's lower than that, then either your battery isn't holding a charge, or the alternator isn't charging it. Now measure the voltage with the car running. It should be reading a little above 14v. I've seen people complain about the battery dying on their 9th gen civics
