Default Project 97 ex coupe -- F20B with T2T4

Well my brother gave me his bone stock 97 ex coupe when he moved out of state. He bought it new and used it as his commuter. He didn't think it was worth it to transport to his new place, so I ended up with it. I figured it would be a good candidate for a beater daily driver so I picked up a cheap F20B with T2T4. It's going to be my daily so I plan on keeping A/C and power steering.

I pulled the motor yesterday, so out with the old y8.

And the new getting ready to go in.

Thanks for looking

I finally got a few hours to work on the civic again. Didn't get much done, but at least the engine is bolted into the car. I was actually kinda surprised how much room there was for the engine, i'm sure most of that will disappear once the accessories start being bolted back in.

Lookin good,

I was told that you needed custom lines for the a/c. Can you confirm that?

Hard to tell from the pic, but the high pressure line fits fine and the low pressure line needs to be loosened and rotated a bit to fit perfect. It looks like i'm going to have to make a little more room for the pump pulley.

Edit: this is the pump that came with the F20b.

I got a little more work done today. I found out that the hard clutch line and flex line don't come close to reaching the clutch slave cylinder. So I ended up replacing the line from the clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder attachment point. I had to cut one of the ears off that hold the stock line in so that my new line would fit.

Axles also went in today. Slowly buy surely making progress.
