when i start my ruckus it idles fine. when i accelerate it bogs down until i reach 10 mph, then it takes off like a rocket.
i have gotten new spark plug, new fuel filter, new battery, cleaned carb, but it still bogs at takeoff until i reach 10 mph.
any help would be greatly appriciated

 

Check your coil, spark plug and wires. Also check your fuel filter if it has one.

 

Common issue with both the ruckus and metro. You need to do a valve adjustment to make it run better. It's typically done after 600 miles, then again at around 2,000 miles.

I buy/sell motorcycles, but every once in a while I'll pick up scooters. I've purchased a lot of metros with this issue, adjusted valves, then turned around and sold them.
