If I end up selling the R, it'll be either before winter or just after. I've had it since 2008 and all the changes were done by me (except for the front, that came with). Anyway, what I'm wondering is what others would do in my place. The engine is getting rebuilt right now (used to be a stock k20a2), complete, k24/k20 with 12.5 comp pistons, new bearings, etc, head is a Skunk2 stage 2 build. For reasons of ease of sale more than maxing out $$$, would you guys sell complete rolling chassis and engine separately - or put heR back together and sell as a whole? Pics below for reference! I appreciate any and all comments and opinions.
Re: Thinking about selling heR, looking for opinions
Selling as a whole would be easier IMO as it's a running car. When you part out, the desirable parts go first then you're stuck with a bunch of **** that's taking up place. You may get more money parting out but it takes longer and the process is more tedious.
Chassis mileage? Any collisions? I'd be interested in more info when you're ready to part ways
Re: Thinking about selling heR, looking for opinions
Can you post more info of the car? I have always wanted to own a type r since my high school days and now I'm at a point where I'm good financially and want to purchase a type r. I'm also waiting on the CTR next year and if I don't like it as much I will be purchasing an ITR.
