My 95 civic eg hatch makes a weird noise when I only turn right. The car has no power steering so it only happens when Iam reversing or turning at a very slow speed. At first I thought the steering wheel wasn't tight because everytime it does it, the steering wheel spins,until I checked and that wasn't the problem. It makes like a thumping noise when this happens. Anyone have an idea on what it could be?

 

What condition/age are your axles?

 

I have no idea, I bought the car a lil bit over a month ago

 

What their condition? Do an inspection to move your thread forward.

Thumping/clanking in reverse can also be caused by the brakes. In this case, it's generally not something to worry about.
