OBD1 F22B2 into OBD2 Accord EX, harness diff.
Long story short, I may be in a position to swap drivetrains between two Accords:
-1996 EX sedan w/ H22A, internal-coil dizzy, chipped P06
-1995 LX coupe, stock
(reasons: 100lb lighter, 49-state emissions compliance, clean floor pan, working AC in the LC coupe)
I would have a fairly limited window of time to get the swap done, 2-3 days. As such, I would not be able to spend time dissecting wiring harnesses, so prep work would have to be done at the head end of the project. I am not concerned with the 96 EX remaining obd-II compliant, it would, simply be to have a reliable, running car to sell, and hopefully recoup the cost of the LX coupe, I cannot have two vehicles.
Realistically speaking, swapping the harnesses between cars, how much cutting and splicing is there going to be to get the engine harnesses to interface with the vehicle-side wiring by the master cylinders and by the ECU? Or will I be better served simply selling the LX coupe's engine/trans and parting out the 96 EX before a tow to the wrecker?
I apologize if this sort of questioning is...millennial in its nature, but it is the sort of information that I cannot ascertain myself, and searching does not yield satisfactory answer. Thank you for the time.

Depends on whether or not the H22 is OBDI or OBDII, the P06 ECU is definitely OBDI so the 96 is not OBDII compliant and never will be unless you buy an OBDII ECU and all of the emissions equipment that goes with it. So that being said, if the H22 and wire harness is all OBDI, it should drop right into the 95 LX. You should also be able to take the 95 LX F22B2 wire harness and ECU and put it in the 96. This all depends on how the H22 swap was done, and whether or not the wiring is completely messed up. 80% of the H22 swaps I have been called in to work on have had hacked up wire harnesses. When you go to work around them, sometimes the wires and connectors pull apart and then things don't work. It then becomes a real nightmare trying to find out why things aren't working as they should.
If you want to get a head start, take lots of pictures of the wire harness, connectors and vacuum line locations. Start labeling things and comparing connectors between the two chassis. This way you can see if there are any broken or worn connectors and wires. As well you can see if there might be a few that you need to swap out.

Firstly, I'm sorry for even making this thread. I was suffering from a case of crap-to-the-brain.
Secondly, thank you for the answer Ghost. I suspected that the engine-to-vehicle connectors would be similar enough to make work. All the major sensors are the same between them. And I am aware of the emissions stuff, but as I said, all I would care about would be the 96 EX running smooth and not tripping a CEL. My 96 EX's swap was done as you describe. It's a bit of a hackjob, I would need to source another harness.
I'm more considering just selling the 95 LX's engine/ecu and parting out the 96 EX. Given that it still won't have AC/PS/cruise, and will be a car that the average joe will have a hard time buying parts at autozone for, I doubt it's going to be worth my time for what I'll get from it. Plus it saves me having to buy a radio for the LX, and maybe even a windshield.
