1995 Del Sol Rear Window - storing water
Hey guys, I have a 1995 Del Sol S... after the winter (here where I live lots of rain) I start notice a notice on the Rear Window compartment, like is storing water... is there a way to open it or make a service on it... or what to do..... Thanks for the help
Do you mean the part between the window and the trunk, or is it getting thru the window seal into the car?
The first one you can't do without major body work/paint after.
The 2nd, you take the interior out of the rear, and then can take the whole window out after removing about a doz bolts. DO NOT remove the ones holding the window to the frame tho, or you might break it.
Good luck!

Its not getting inside the car.. but when you turn it sounds likes have a couple of litters stored in there... I definitely want to open that, but no idea of how to...
Great info Mtoskippy... help me a lot...
Good write up but may not be necessary I have cleaned those drain tubes, [and others] out from the bottom with, of all things, a speedo cable, [inside section] tried that after doing many evaporator drain tubes and sun roof drain tubes that way, it saves a lot of time and effort and is worth at least trying before the above linked method.
The trick is to use something very flexible, [speedo cable, long wire tie or the like] something like a hanger can damage the drain tube, [poke holes in it] and then you will have to replace them. 94

That's a good idea actually... but as you said what if you damage the drain tubes as they are plastic/rubber made... but at the same time is a long time/process the removal of the panel, so have a lot of sense to try it the way first... I'll see if a can take a pic to how it looks like from down the car, that will help fie everybody to have an idea rather than guess witch hole it is...
