they tend to fail after a few hundred miles, depending on how hard you push them, also puts the health of your motor in jeopardy when they do fail. Just dont do it

well you need more the just a "p28" ecu, most people here run Hondata or similar which can be installed into a P28 ECU, I bought my ECU complete with hondata pre installed which will then need to be tuned by a professional. pretty sure all this stuff is in the FAQ somewhere
other then that perhaps a catch can, upgraded clutch and motor mounts depending on your power goals

Yea actually just bought the car a month ago and the clutch is pretty much brand new.. Not sure if it's an OEM clutch or and aftermarket.. The guy I bought it from only had it for a couple months and didn't know anything about what's been done to it

It should be an Exedy or something along those lines. Autozone or equivalent aftermarket clutch will burn out quick. Seen it happen on a similar setup to what you're wanting to do. Mounts should be okay for awhile but you'll kill them quicker. Rear mount will be the first to go. Engine will start flopping about like a fish out of water when it does.
You don't need Hondata - if you're looking for a budget friendly option, Crome is free and Crome Gold is like $100. People tend to overlook them as options, but they exist and offer all the features you'll need for this setup.
I went the ebay route on my y8 and i will never do it again. first problem was i and to cut and re weld the downpipe because it was not even close to fitting, most of these kits don't even come with everything you will need. all of the bolts on all of the parts are terrible quality, everything is just really cheap quality, but you get what you pay for.
