On the lookout for a T3/T4 45-50 trim with 5 bolt exhaust flange. Looking for garrett, turbonetics, etc.. good quality/good shape/good deal. I don't want to risk the chinachargers unless you have one brand you can absolutely vouch for. I've been half-tempted more than a few times to try them out. Has anyone had success with twisted motion chargers? Looks like they basically buy the chinachargers and rebuild them with better seals and balance them, etc.. any advice?

What trim is that? 57 trim?

My goal is to have good spool for street so I really want smaller if possible. In short I have 91 CRX with b16 swap, going with inline pro manifold and I want to keep the A/C but good spool up (220-230whp at most)

 

But the SC34 IS a 57 "trim" Garrett from 2003-2007 right down to the compressor wheel & exhaust wheel sizes. That's what you wanted, right?

 

What are the full specs on that turbo? I thought it was bigger.

 

If I could search the Internet better I could find you the exact specs, but no luck so far. Maybe shodan might know with his plethora of knowledge.

Thanks. I ended up getting one just this weekend from a local turboshop. He's been doing turbo's for 30+ years and professionally rebuilds and balances them. He had a .63/60 Turbonetics T3/T4 he rebuilt with garrett internals with warranty. Even has the water cooled housing.
