Default Headlight recommendation?

Hey guys, back for more advice! I want to replace the headlights (actual fixture, not the bulb..) on my 2006 Civic coupe, but all the lamps i've found are for sedans. Any recommendations? AZ wanted $500 for a pair of OE lamps. Miss me w/ that thx -.-

also, idk wtf is but it's making me pretty happy.

Oh, also, i need like.. functional headlights, haha. Nothing smokey or blacked out. Just nice, normal, i-can-see-where-i'm-going-on-a-two-lane-back-road-with-no-street-lights headlights.

Are you wanting oem headlights or aftermarket? You can get set of oem headlights on eBay for probably around $150-200 shipped.
If you are looking for a brighter light output I would recommend doing a retrofit hid kit on your headlights.

I'm fine with the OEM, the ones I have now are just so yellowed and clouded that the light is muffled. I've already done all the brightening kits and toothpaste tricks and baking soda, etc, they're just beyond help at this point and need to be replaced.

I looked on amazon and like I said, they either don't specify at all whether they're for 2dr/4dr, or they're for 4dr. I'm hoping someone can point me to an exact set (maybe one they've bought in the past)

Thanks for answering though!

There are kits specially designed that you can use to buff it back to normal. There are places that will do it too for a fee. It doesn't sound like you are a using a real kit to do the job.

I've used *a* kit... idk if it's like THE kit... but from what I've read you can only get away with that once or twice. Once the plastic degrades (and civic headlights I guess are known to degrade?) then it's permanently pitted. If you have suggestions, I'm all ears! The places that do it for a fee charge almost as much as a plain ol' set of replacement fixtures.
