2002 Accord EX dash lights out
Hi everyone,
I'm sure you've heard this a million times before, but some of the dashboard lights aren't working and I could sure use some advice. They've been intermittent for a long time now and I've gotten very good at judging speed in the dark. But my daughter is taking this car to school with her in August and I can't let her drive around like that.
Here's a list of what works and what doesn't:
Not working
Speedometer
Tachometer
Odometer
Fuel
Working
All emergency and warning lights (in fact, my ABS and TCS lights are on...taking care of that next week)
Gear light (transmission light?)
Headlights
High beams
Taillights
Clock
Radio (factory installed, not aftermarket)
Hazard
I checked the #9 fuse on the driver's side and the #10 on the passenger side. They look okay but I'm going to replace them anyway. Obviously with the lights out I can't check the dimmer (currently set at max).
Is there anything else I should be looking at?
Thanks! I know I could just wait till it goes in next week but I want to try to do it myself.

Good listing of what not working and what working.
I believe those non working lights are actually your instrument cluster lights and not your dash light.
If fuses are not the issue, I am afraid that you may have to pull your instrument cluster out and change the none working light bulbs accordingly. I have to admit that those bulbs don't burn out that easy, and I am surprised if yours went out that soon. It's not very hard to pull the instrument panel out. Post a few pix of your dash if you want to know how.
