Default Tein springs sitting wrong !!Help!!

So i have a 2000 Honda civic ex and recently installed truhart shocks and Tein springs. my problem is that the front of my car sits a lot higher than the rear. I'm not an expert or anything but i know i installed them correctly like the front springs said "F" and the rear said "R" and whatnot, but its horrible the way it sits. I'm thinking of buying the same springs that were on my 99 ex that were Eibach sportlines. i love the way the tein's ride but i need the wheel gap on the front and rear to match, even if the rear sat a little higher than the front idc. any help would be greatly appreciated please. ill post pics of how the car sat before the install and after. thanks

Did you get the springs new? Are they for your year of car?

I know you said you made sure they're on correct front and back but just try swapping them.

Also make sure you tighten all the suspension bolts under load, with a jack holding the suspension off the ground and off jackstands. This will make sure your bushings are clocked correctly, not contributing to uneven height, and won't tear easily

And drive it around for a bit before making final conclusion on ride height.

Otherwise, then the springs are just bad, maybe fake, or just mislabelled.

Try eibachs, you can trust them. Fake teins everywhere.

This spring doesn't look seated correctly.

If you had flipped the springs incorrectly, the front would be significantly lower than the rear. The rear springs are softer and shorter.

Tein S techs drop the front 1.9 front and the rear 1.75. So I doubt that even unclocked bushings are holding them as high as the picture shows. Though, you should be clocking bushings anyway.

You either have an installation error...or got sold fake or incorrect springs.

FWIW (not much, I'm sure), Sportlines are WAY too low and soft for proper use on the street. S techs are too low/soft as well. But not quite as shitty of a ride compared to sportlines.

Eibach prokits are about right. But...they don't get "mad low y0"

Are the shocks for your car also? The perch location is everything. Also, a bit of advice, never buy used suspension. You are really rolling the dice, especially with used shocks.

The real question is, why, in the year of our lord 2016 would anyone buy lowering springs and "performance" shocks?

thanks guys, like i said I'm not to smart about suspension and what not. my last civic had eibach pro shocks with eibach sport line springs. car rode amazing but this guy was selling these truhart/tein for $150 and i did every check on the springs to make sure they're real. i know now i should have just spent the money to get all eibach but lesson learned. I'm going to be ordering new springs and shocks soon and i want eibach or sure. i just want the wheels gap gone, nt to be stupid low. ill post a picture of what exactly was on my last car and how it looked. I'm just trying to get sent in the right direction..

FYI, a tein street basis setup is like $500 at thmotorsports. You can choose your ride height. They ride well and last a long time.

Thanks B Serious!! I'll look them up. I just want the wheel gap gone but also a smoothe(ish) ride cause some peoples cars I've ridden in with coil overs was way to bouncy.

I have Megan coilovers and the spring rate is similar to stock. They have adjustable spring perches so you don't have to sacrifice ride quality for ride height. I love them.
