3rd gen prelude ecu fuse38 keeps popping
hey guys. over a week ago now my alternator wires managed to cross my p/s pulley and melt! i fixed the wires of course and got the car back started but when i would just drive to the end of the block and stop, all power would seem to drain until it shut off. i got home and started the car again, and pulled the positive terminal (stupid) and the ecu fuse popped and has been popping ever since. it only takes turning the key to the ii position for it to pop, not even trying to crank. it does not pop when the fuel pump/alternator fuse12 is out but I've checked every wire from the number 12 fuse all the way to the alternator itself, no breaks, no burns.even checked all grounds from the main relay up.. I figured it possible to have burned the ecu up but i tested another one and it cranked up again until a friend pulled the terminal again (dumb move) because its back to popping every single time. does anyone think that it maybe fried this ecu as well? i dont see any damage to it..
edit; its a 91 prelude with a b20a5 motor.

You simple test, take your ecu and swap with someone else who has the same lude and have them run it.
If they pop their fuse, then you fried both ecu's.
