Hey guys I'm having a idle fluctuation car is 92 hatch has d16y8 with z6 Mani.. When I key on ignition fuel pump constantly runs never stops priming like normal.. And also the idle bounces up and down but only when hot.. I've cleaned iacv and have been looking a vacuum lines.. There is a line off the Mani under runner 1 with a bolt in it and another off of the charcoal canister that was just dangling any idea will be appreciated

 

Return the main relay wiring to stock. Somebody may have bypassed the main relay.

Did you clean the FITV and IACV?

 

Yes sir they did indeed bypass the relay with a quick splice connector.. New relay will be here tomorrow.. And I grabbed a can or carb cleaner and tracked the vacuum leak down to an automatic tb gasket.. Got proper gasket and installed today no more fluctuation.. Thanks for the input!!

 

Check for vacuum leaks.

Idle issue was solved.. Previous owner had a automatic tb gasket.. Replaced with manual tb gasket no more bouncing up and down.. Now I'm covered in electrical issues that have me scratching my head
