So I just recently stuck a d16y8 in my hatch, just for the mean time. Everything is working fine, no CEL's, no lights, not sputters and the motor is in timing. <-- have checked several times.
Problem:
The car once it warms up will not hold an idle. It just slowly goes down and car cuts off. If i unplug the cruise control hose so there is a vacume leak on the manifold it will stay running but surging as we all know.. So i'm thinking the problem is on the intake side.. but what to check. I'm not throwing an IAC code. and I checked it and it looks to be clean. I'm just not sure where to go from here. Please, I need some advice. Hate holding my foot on the gas at the stop light. lol. Thanks for your time.

Well i Just put a y8 in my coupe i had the iac and the tps backwards i flipped them to their proper homes and that fixed that problem for me lol
