Can a radio be cage mounted where the OEM climate controls go?

I'm unsure if the radio can be mounted without removing the dash completely and bracing it from the back.

This would be done on a non-modified Civic 95 EG HB.

The answer is no. The climate controller is larger than a radio, and thus will not accommodate a radio cage without some modification.
