Having trouble getting the AUX and 12V power plates off. I am replacing a broken AUX port but the power plug will NOT come out. I have been trying to push the black tabs in and pull the thing out but to no avail

Anyone have tips/tricks? I dont want to break the power source during removal since that part still works. Removing the glove box didnt help, its super cramped back there even with small hands.
