Hey guys, I have a 97 del sol that's having some shifting hesitation. I changed the transmission to see if it would help and also because I don't know when it was last done but it hasn't resolved the issue. I'm thinking it could be a faulty ECU but I'm not sure. There are no transmission codes but there is a code for the primary O2 sensor. Is it possible the hesitation could be caused by the vtec trying to activate but failing due to the CEL?

Did you use honda transmission fluid or another brand?

 

Does it seem to get stuck in a particular gear before shifting if you noticed?
