Revhard parts identification
I'm not a mechanic or anything, but I think I've read enough and seen enough pictures of installations that I could attempt to do the install myself. I just had a few questions mainly about the oil lines.
1) With what parts do you connect the oil return line to the pan? I know the black metal piece connects to the center housing where the oil drains and the gasket that goes with it. and then the red tube is the return line right? But after that I start getting confused. There is a steel tube about 2 1/2" long and 3/4" in diameter that will fit into the other end of the red tube. Is this the piece that goes into the oil pan? How do I secure it to the pan? None of the brass fittings seem to fit with it.
2) The black hose is for fuel right? And the blue one for the wastegate?
3) What are the 4 white "check valves" used for? I have the drag3 instructions but the don't mention anything about them.

i would suggest getting rid of that rubber hose and get a stainlless line setup using earls tyep fittings. here is a pic of mine and what i used to do it.
what i used was a 1/2" to -10an adapter to a -10an 45 degree swivle then -10an line to another -10an 45 degree swivle to -10 steel weld fitting.

Yeah, I've actually been leaning towards that route, but I still don't know which fitting taps into the oil pan that will connect to the oil return line.
Maybe you should have the kit installed by a professional. You can do ALOT of damage with an improperly installed turbo kit! Just a thought....

Well I'm not really looking at it like that. I've installed a lot of my stuff on my own and I knew absolutley nothing about cars before I got into this. Plus I've got a helms manual! I've also done my headers, uninstalled my Fields unit and put in my J&S safeguard. I am planning on having a friend help me out who is a mechanic too. But for now, I'm just trying to get an idea of where everything goes so I can help too. If I know where everything is supposed to go it would help me out a lot. So how about it guys? Wanna help me out?

By no means do I wanna sound like a dick when I says this but, where is a turbo kit installation in a helms manual? It may help you locate the oil pressure sensor, but thats about it. Sometimes it doesnt come down to the install, but the tuning afterward. Make sure the cars tuned and running right before you try and pull a John Force. Good luck. My .02cents
Well, I've done enough searching on the topic and I now know where all of those parts go.
As far as tuning goes, I'm not planning on boosting the car until I can get my hondata tuned. I'm also installing a profec B so I'll just turn the boost all the way down to zero.

I think you are thinking the picture I posted up was the exhaust manifold I'm using. That picture is from some website. I'm using the regular cast iron revhard manifold and the stock intake manifold, if that helps.

Do you have any more pictures of the manifold? I want to see something.
that manifold will *not* work with that downpipe. just a thought...

tony, does mengheader make that revhard manifold? I think they do...
Revhard manifolds are the best off the shelf manifolds right? Ive got a 2001 lude sh i think hats the mani im going to go with? any suggestions???
For the money, rev hard is the best manifold for the H22. The only way you really gonna get better is with an equall length manifold and losing ac. Probably not what you're looking to do with a new prelude.
