2010 honda civic A/C not working
Hello.
I bought an A/C pro thinking it would fix my air-conditioning problems.
My A/C was working before but not the best so i decided to buy this product.
Me not knowing anything really about cars. I overcharged it and my air-conditioning started blowing hot air. Researched little on the internet and saw i could bleed it out. i did. and i over did that as well. Today i took it to the shop for an EVAC and charge. the shop did it and everything was right but still my ac is blowing hot air. Now shop wants to charge me 900 bucks to change AC clutch coil. I can see that the clutch is not engaging. but is there any other reason why this would not work? or what else are my other options? there are no leaks. everything else checked out. except for the clutch coil which was working before i overcharged and over bleed.
Any help would gladly be appreciated before i shell out this 900 bucks.

There are basically a couple tests for the clutch gap, one is just push the clutch with something like a stick with the ac on and if it engages then the clutch gap is incorrect, then you need to reshim it. Or you can simply measure the gap with a feeler gauge. Did he do either of those ?
