92 prelude trans leak at top?

Default 92 prelude trans leak at top?

I have a 1992 Honda Prelude with a transmission leak, and it appears to be coming from the top of a metal stem on the top of the tranny. I don't know if this is just a normal venting type thing, or if there is something majorly wrong with my baby. It has done this before. I put it on a lift at the school (my teacher had swapped it to an H22A DOHC VTEC before I bought it and he was a Honda tech and currently is a ASE cert. Master tech) we removed the fill bolt and fluid was pouring out. He said it was most likely just overfilled and flowing out of the vent. Both times it has done this was after the vehicle was warmed up and on the highway. Around 70ish mph. It has gained around 5k miles in between these occurrences. Already planning swapping the fluid out for fresh tomorrow, so any ideas? Thanks a lot in advance. BTW, It has 234XXX on the clock.

It likely is just overfilled. The shift boot does get old and leak.
