So I picked up my second ITR this weekend in Alabama. Its definitely a project. They guy I got the car from only had it about a week before he was overwhelmed with the amount of work it will take to get this R back to stock. But it has a clean title, it runs and drives and has the original motor.
My problem is I don't know the badge number... it had been removed...

Also Sometime in 2009 the car was painted and reported to AL DMV as Blue.... you can see a bit of the blue in some of the pics...

I have tried to Google search for Blue ITRs but haven't had any luck.

Here is what I have:
2000 Acura Integra Type-R
VIN: JH4DC2316YS002973
Color was: FBP (Black)
Badge: ??????

According to carfax the car has been in Alabama its entire life, sold and kept there.

How can I go about figuring out the badge number????

Don't think you'll be able to track down the number unless someone in here knows this car and is actually holding on to the badge number. There was a thread in here years ago that discussed this same issue and to my knowledge, the badge numbers were assigned randomly to each ITR. There was no rhyme or reason to how ITRs received their badge numbers.

 

Looking at the unofficial ITR Registry - 2000 Acura Integra Type R

There are 4 potential 2000 ITR's registered in AL:

00-0560 AL, USA FBP Modified Clean Abandoned Yes 01/18/14

00-1216 AL, USA FBP 120,000 Modified Clean None No Yes Yes 10/21/10

00-1308 AL, USA FBP 133,201 Un-Modified Clean None Yes Yes 06/28/13

00-1524 (JDM Front) AL, USA FBP 94,000 Modified Clean None Yes Yes 07/16/12

My guess would e 00-0560 based on the fact it was listed as abandoned.

 

Well I know for a Fact that its not 00-1216.... I'm going to try and look up the other cars on this list and use process of elimination...

I have also contacted one of the previous owners on FB, I'll see if he knows anything.
