Should still be the same belt and pump as the D15B2/7 if it's the small main journal D15B (non vtec).

Thank you for your response

That's what I thought for the belt so I got a B7 belt but it was way too long. But I found what I needed which is a civic vx belt which consist of 103 teeth the same as the d15b belt that came with the engine..

and yeah I should've counted the teeth before I posted

That's interesting, the D15B non vtec, carb version in my wifes car took the 106 tooth B7 belt and water pump too.

That's the challenge with the D15B, there is like 4 versions of them.

Just curious "TomCat39" does your wife's engine have the spark plugs on the intake or exhaust side of the valve cover? PM3 head vs...whatever the newer head is. I bet that's why the belts are different.

Ahhh, that makes sense. The carb head was the same setup as the B7 head I have since put on it. The only difference was the hole (and block off plate) in the back left corner of the head for the mechanical oil pump and the extra lobe on the camshaft for the oil pump.

Other than that it was the same spark plug orientation and looked to be the same height. I'll have to dig the head out of the scrap parts car and see what it was stamped. I think it too was a PM3 head.
