Hi Readers, I have Honda Accord EXL 2008 model which suddenly stops cooling the air when the AC is switched on. It started throwing hot air instead. But sometimes, it passes mild air as well. I have checked with Honda technicians and they told this might be "AC clutch is not engaging".

Is there a way I can confirm this issue or fix it, if found confirmed?

When it stops "cooling" is the "face" of the ac compressor spinning with the belt or is is just sitting there....remember it does "cycle" on and off so you will need to watch it for a few minutes.

Is the HVAC unit giving any codes - different than pcm codes?
