Default Where can I buy a Y8 cam cap?

I've got a 1997 honda civic DX that I'm putting a d16y8 head on. The head I've got was a bare head but I've got all the stuff I need to put it back together besides the cam caps. I've called every parts store in the town I live and they can't get em. So I was wondering can the cam caps and a few of the other parts from a d15b work with my motor. Thanks

If you can't find parts in your local junk yard, have you called the Honda dealer or checked online Honda dealers?

I don't believe the cam caps are sold separately by the dealer. They're machine matched to each head are they not?

Or maybe just buy a D longblock or head for parts...

This is my understanding too, especially being there is not bearings to make up for any variances even in the smallest increments.

I believe if you introduce a foreign cap you have to have it re-honed and possibly re-bored then re-honed and pray to god it doesn't take the journal beyond spec for the cam shaft.

As mentioned a bone yard for the caps and an align bore to match them . 94

You'd have to bore oversize then use an oversize cam. It would be easier and likely the same cost to just replace the whole head with one that has its matching caps.
