Good Evening,

I've got a problem with my 1995 Honda Accord EX V6 (approximately 191k miles). About 5 months ago, I was driving down the freeway and the car slightly jerked. Ever since then, the check engine light (and the airbag light) has been on. There are no codes coming up on the scanner whatsoever. Since this has happened, we've replaced the ECM (computer) and the cluster. The check engine &airbag lights are STILL simultaneously on and there are no codes. If anyone has an idea as to what this could possibly be, I would certainly appreciate the help.

This sounds like a harness issue. At close to 200k all the rattling over the life of the car could have caused a short in the wiring. I know this is sort of vague but that's all I can think of.

 

my check engine light wont go off. i changed the water pump and timing belt and it still didnt go off. So then i watched the codes and i had 1 sorta long blink 3 shorter blinks and then 1 really fast blink the check engine light is still on. any ideas on what it could be. or what do i need to do next. it seems like a vacuum to me. u can email me or call me at 870-321-7092.thank u bonnie
