Yesterday my car took a little longer to start... I was a little bit worried. Then this morning it starts fine... This noon, it cranks but won't start...I had to call an uber car... How embarrassing...

The symptom is,
1. Turn the key on, alarm is on, like the alarm you didn't had seat belt..
2. wait a couple of seconds, the engine check light didn't come off. It stays..
3. Crank the car, it won;t start.
4. I did hear the main relay click when I turn the key on...but it could be the contact of main relay is bad...

The car is still at company's parking lot. I am going to swap the main relay... Hopefully it is going to work...

Does the symptom match a typical main relay failure?

If it is not the main relay, what else can be wrong? God help me, hope it's not a fuel pump...

 

Do you hear the fuel pump priming when you turn on the ign.?

If not, then most likely it is a problem with the PGM-FI Main Relay almost always an easy fix... Main Relay Fix and Troubleshooting (Honda, Acura) 94

 

pull the carpet back on the passenger side and look at the blinking light how many times does it blink?
