Has anyone had experience with this shifter in a 96-00 civic? They have a warning for use with tall shift ***** so I wonder how close to the dash this gets. Pictures would be a big help.

 

on the tallest setting with my spoon shift **** I was hitting the bottom of the climate control console. mine also wasn't set to the shortest throw which why it hit. I had the height set halfway and that worked perfect.

 

Are these those adjustable ones? I drove a few cars with them and didnt like their feel. It felt notchy and not smooth and accurate IMO.

 

I thought the same at first but then I went ahead and changed my shifter bushings with solid aluminum pieces and it was a completely different feel, dimes peformance bushings are amazing FYI
