Anyone know if you can put a curt hitch on with the asr subframe brace?

However I do not see a problem with either the class 1 or the class 3 units as neither one comes close to where the brace is. 94

What the hell are you planning to tow with an ED hatch?

Unless it's JDM, then I take it back LOL. Seriously though LOL what's the towing capacity on something like that. I'd NEVER tow with mine.

 

Just a small trailer withs slicks and a jack to autocross

 

It doesn't look like it would fit well to me. It has to bolt through the subframe that the ASR brace sits in front of. https://www.curtmfg.com/masterlibrar..._11590_INS.PDF shows install, it also may not clear an aftermarket muffler.

 

Defiantly not that one, it is not one of the two I found, now I cant find them again.

Do what I did, have a shop weld a receiver, whatever size you want to the bumper beam, I have my receiver behind my licence plate, so nothing hanging under the car or showing unless my trailer is connected, I also use it for tires and tool box for autocross, [and yard waste] even towed my Yamaha Grizzly quad with it, works great. 94

 

Other things like bike racks and cargo boxes use hitches too, not just for towing stuff
