Default 98 si knuckle the same as 00 EX?

This has been a bit of a saga for me. The wifes 98 SI had a wheel bearing starting to go on the front passenger side. The cheap and quick side of me decided to just swap out the entire hub/knuckle with one from pick n pull ($30) vs buying the bearing ($140) and pressing it on and off.

Long story short I grabbed a knuckle off a 94 integra (which also has the larger 10.3" rotor) installed it without issue only to realize a few days later the integra knuckle is taller then the SI knuckle. Which caused the car to ride 1 1/4" high on the passenger side which also changed the camber. I then went to the junkyard and grabbed a 2000 EX spindle and swapped it for the integra one. The car however is still sitting high on the passenger side by 1/2". I jacked up the car and tried measuring/comparing the knuckles from side to side and they do appear to be the same length/height. However I cannot be sure unless I remove one and take exact measurements. So now my question is, are 2000 EX and 98 SI knuckles identical or different castings?

civic gurus please help me out here. I have been googling for two days and it's pretty tough to sort fact from "yeah it should fit"

Thanks
Andrew

oh i see now, that's why I was always reading 99-00 SI. Didn't realize it wasn't released in the states in 98.
Thanks eghatch, appreciate the input.

canadian si= us ex. canadian sir= us si. your ex had the d16y7, whereas ours has the y8. i have no idea if your ex got the larger front brakes or the smaller lx/dx brakes that came on y7 cars here.

Just to be 100% clear, we are talking about a Canadian 1998 SI, correct?

If so, they are the same.
In Canada SI= US EX
SIR= US SI

It is a canadian SI yes indeed. Thanks for the info gentlemen. That cleared up a lot of stuff for me. It did come with the bigger brakes. I didn't realize there was such a thing as a 2-door EX aka canadian SI
thanks again, appreciate the help.
