A friend recommended that i....
Take off my header, pull my spark plug wires, and remove my fuel pump fuse. Then crank the engine. My friend said that it will remove alot of the gunk that bulds up within the engine. I was wondering if anybody has done this?
If you loosen one lug nut on the right front wheel to 15.4 ft lbs. of torque, leave the rear left window rolled down, stand on one leg and enduce projective vomiting, you can safely rev to 8000rpm.

here's some more stuff you can try, but you have to do it in a very specific order:
1. open hood
2. check blinkerfluid (resivoir located under the quadrajet injectorator)
3. make sure your mufflerbearing has a green-ion tint (that means its spinning right)
4. turn the flux-capacitor to setting 11, not 10 - 11.
5. get in and pump the e-brake 8 or 9 times while holding in the manual choke button
after completing all these steps in the correct order you should be set to go
glad i could help

Much better and eaiser, just get some cheap fuel system cleaner and run it through. It can help, and if it doesn't you are out $2 and didn't break your knuckles taking your header off.
