built b18c turbo issue
Hello all ,
I have a build integra type-r turbo and i am from Malta. I need some help and would love your assistance .
My integra was running fine untill distributor rotor bolt got loose and destroyed the distributor in the process,then the ECU map somehow got scrambled and it wouldn't start .
After buying a brand new distributor and re uploading the map that my tuner gave me it started up but now i have another issue . It will not rev past 2000 rpm and when i press the gas pedal it shuts off immediately if i hold it down.If i give it gas really slowly from the throttle body,it revs up . Also i noticed that when i press the gas pedal ,wideband reads Lean when the car is about to shut off then if i let go off the gas it idles perfectly . Also fuel pump is working correctly and when i hit the gass fuel pressure rises as it is supposed to do .
Car is a fully built b18c-r motor with forged pistons , rods,precision turbo and intercooler , full race turbo manifold . and all the rest. Nothing was spared on this build .
I also have data logs and an image of my low speed ignition , as somehow i seem to point the issue towards there . Some help would be greatly appreciated . Thank you .

Try re-uploading the calibration after upgrading the software if it has not been updated.
This may resolve your issue. If it does not, contact your tuner & have him re-send the calibration or try another calibration.
You likely bought an aftermarket distributor which are notorious for being losey at everything including weak coil and inaccurate cam/crank signals. This can affect your base timing so its extremely important that you calibrate your base timing with the Ecu.
