Default D15b usdm block to z6 head mini me Help.

Hi guys, I know this topic has been beat to death and this is going to be met with why didn't you search bruh haha. I did but only got certain answers not all them. As stated above I have a d15b (usdm) in a 92 dx hatch and I want to put a z6 head on. I gave a po8 ecu will that work , I have read use the p28? Which is better. Will I have to do a obd to convert. I know I'll need a y8 cam gear but what timing belt do I use. I have read use the z6 and a6 timing belt. How do i remove the oil jet? What can I do to make my usdm to as close as the jdm version. I know the compression is different, could I just pistons with performance ones and get better results?. Any info provided would be appriciated, I apologize for this novel.

nothing obd wise to convert. you'll need to run wires for vtec, and use the p28. timing belt is y7/8/5/z6. i know for a fact there is a write up with pics for removing the oil jet, it is super easy. your crank, rods, and pistons are all different than the jdm version, there is really nothing you can do in that respect. you're bumping yourself into the 10:1 area of c/r, be ready to run premium gas.

I just tried to do this same swap. You can pull the oil jet with needle nose pliers. If that doesn't work use a drywall screw. Change your water pump and tensioner while you have the timing belt off. When you hook up the wires for the intake manifold be sure to not mix up the plugs or you will fry the ecu. Learned that the hard way. Have fun getting the crank pulley bolt off. Easiest way I found is to put long very strong bolts through adjacent holes in the pulley and wedge a breaker bar through them and against the ground to hold the pulley while you break the nut loose. sorry for the crappy picture.

just the cam gear. set the key so it's at 12oclock. The timing marks will be off on the actual gear. Good luck
