CEL Error code 1167 Heater failure
After replacing the O2 sensor due to fault codes 1166 and 1167, I still get 1167-Heater circuit error. I check resistance through O2 sensor heat, about 17 Ohms. Plug has 14 volts feeding heater. I read somewhere that computer has to re learn parameters to get CEL to go out, after running several hours/cycles. Is this true?
i hawe the same problem with my 2001 accord the sensor is not orginal but its dedicated ntk sensor the resistance is 14 ohms (shoud bee betwen 10 n 40 so its ok) n i hawe 13.6 volts feeding heater so thats ok too i heard somwhere that those engines (f20b6) run good only on orginal denso sensor but the one that i hawe its dedicated to that engine but the code is coming back eany ideas?
