Default Need some opinions here! cat converter

Hey all im in the process of ordering a magnaflow cat for my 1990 1.5l dx hatchback. The website im getting it from advertised for both the 1.5 and 1.6l engines but now after ive tried to purchase theyre telling me that these cats no longer fit the 1.5l. can you guys explain to me WHY that magnaflow cat wouldn't fit my car?? It looks exactly the same to me.. ive talked to magnaflow themselves and the guy told me they dont make cats for my car. But you can find them on google advertised for 88-91 civics. Whats the difference between the 1.5 and 1.6 cats? Ive searched google for an answer but im too specific to get the answer there. Thankss everyone for reading!

Probably bc it's a waste of money if it's for a stock engine. Order a cat, get flanges welded on, problem solved.

high flow cats are scam
Been tested and debunked
Just get a normal one.
Make sure it's for your state or region.

It really didnt matter to me what kind of cat to get someome just suggested magnaflow so i went with it. Seems most all cats are expensive tho so as long as its new thats all that really matter. I will get back to this once i get the part and tell you guys about it. Yeah its a pretty stock setup but im slowly replacing parts when i need to until i have the cash and time to do an engine swap and manual conversion. Thanks for the input guys
