Does anyone make a carbon fiber roof for an eg coupe? I know there's ones made for eg hatch and ek coupe. I don't want a discussion about pros/cons or appearance/function, just info on if there is or if one can be made to work.

 

Yes it can be made, and someone has done custom ones before. I kinda forgot his contact information. Think his car was a teg. That was like nearly a decade ago.

street cred. . . The incredibly minimal weight distribution and reduction advantage of having a carbon fiber roof instead of steel?

 

I'm wanting one for my ek coupe. Why? Hail damage.

 

It's just a cap, it doesn't replace the roof. No weight savings. Yes, it will cover hail dings. Probably cheaper to repair the dings than cover with carbon fiber, although it probably adds 10 horsepower.
