I have a 1999 civic ex 5speed coupe, and just recently it has gotten to where when I try to start it it will just make one loud click when the key turns, and then nothing else, I can hear the fuel pump, fans, and everything else electrical come on and function like normal but the thing is it only does it at random and sometimes it will start. No check engine light on or anything of that nature, no problem when I pop the clutch and roll start, and all gauges still work properly when it does start, any ideas where to start?

 

Usually this is the starter itself. The solenoid clicks in, but the contacts that energize the motor are worn out, so the motor doesn't always turn.
