Good Afternoon all,

Today i'm replacing my Valve Cover gasket and Spark Plug Tube Seals.
To be direct, my Spark Plug Tube Seals are the originals, so they did not come out nicely in once piece. In fact, all of them have broken apart upon trying to remove them.





Any suggestions as to a good way to get this very old and immovable plastic debris off my Valve Cover.
Can i torch this off?

Ha! I got'em.
they came right out with a small vice grip and a flat head screw driver.
Gonna clean up Valve cover now!

 

Just did this last week, its the metal rings that get you. I personally used a flathead and a hammer to crush the rings in. Then they just pop out.

Getting them back in goes a bit smoother with a touch of oil.
