94 Civic - d16z6 wont start/wont crank
I'm having same issue as what I found in this thread.. Can some one help please!? I Baught a 94 civic other day with d16z6 motor. Drove it home no issues & as soon as i pull in my drive way shut it off & tried to restart & all it does is make a loud clicking sound when I turn my key over coming from a fuse box or relay box. It almost sounds like it's coming from fuse box inside car.. I've tried starter & thats not it. Anything will help! I'm desperate to fix it at this point.

Moved to your own thread and referenced the really old thread you found with a similiar issue.
Based on your post count and the bumping of an old thread I think I can safely assume you are new to the site. Welcome.

I'm in desperate need of some advice on what to try next on my civic. Its a 94 with the d16z6 vtec motor with 5 speed. I Baught it & drove it home no problems.. But when I tried to start it again all it does is make a loud clicking noise coming from the fuse box or relay box. I've swapped batteried, cleaned terminals, cleaned the ground & took the starter off.. Can someone please point me in the right direction of what to try next PLEASE? Any advice & opinions is greatly apprciated! Thank you
check fuses relays try starting it using wires bypassing ignition switch i had the same problem first time i did a wire tuck/battery relocation my starter signal wire voltage was hitting 4v(too low)
did weeks of research on my wire tuck/bat relocation back traced all my wiring everything was good but my signal was still to low turned out the 4 guage ground going from my optima to body in the trunk was too small i went to home depot got 3feet of 000 house ground wire instead of paying out the *** for audio wire hopefully the leads you in the right direction
