radiator fan clearance from hood exit exhaust
I'm having some clearance issues with my 93 hatch forward facing turbo setup with go autoworks radiator, i've notched the upper rad support as much as id like to and I only got about 1/8in from my hood exit up-pipe to my fan worried even with heat wrap still may melt it, so I was just looking for suggestions should I drop the shroud just use the rad ties could probable gain another half inch or so? or switch to a pusher fan?
Full rested position touching
If i turn it a bit i can get this not enough clearance imo
I was thinking i could shorten it about 2 inchs and should get rid of clearance issues but don't really want to but may be best option?
thats a 3 row radiator? might be OK if your wrap it, my wrapped manifold gets too hot to touch but I feel like it wouldnt melt plastic, other then that you could do a pusher fan

i would just remove the shroud. from my personal findings, those shrouds dont actually work and after to speaking to an engineer at my job they said the same thing. you need a funnel/cone like design to actually pull the air off of the radiator.

You ever ran a pusher fan? Im in a similar problem myself but its my intake pipe, I was planning to run a pusher to fix clearance issues even tho most ppl hate them
