Default 15x5.5 45mm?

New to this...just picked up a 91 si hatch.

In need of some new wheels/tires. Wondering how well 15x5.5 with 45mm offset will fit?

Found a great deal (basically free) on these wheels off an insight. Not sure how they'll look yet but willing to give it a try if they'll fit. Also, what would be best tire size?

They'd fit great. A tire alternative to keep your overall stock diameter nearly dead on is 195/50-15.

205/50/15 is also very close but would likely balloon a bit too much on a 5.5" wheel.

I would give willtheyfit.com a try, they let you visualize your old setup vs. your new setup

If you have Si 14" wheels, here's what your new setup will look like in comparison (no real change, see diagram on right side of page)
Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit

If the wheels were quite a bit different, the old wheels would be orange and your new wheels would be green. In this case, all the lines overlap each other.

Probably because it's a fairly modern and low volume car that people wouldn't normally swap wheels onto (so stock wheels aren't floating around).
