Icon4 Electrical issue

Hey as stated above i have a electrical issue.

I have a 92 Eg civic hatch(RHD) with a B18cR swap, my current issue is that when i flip the indicator switch the car has a dip in current, as in when i use the indicator there is a cut out in power for a second then it returns to normal when the indicator is turned off. You can hear the dip in the engine and you can also see a dimming out in the dashboard clock, when another load is applied such as wipers the clock light flashes.

current checks made;
1. battery voltage when car is off 12.3v

2. battery check when car is started 14.1v

3. battery check when lights, hazards, a/c blower and other loads on(car started) 14.3v

4. alternator check when above load is on(car started) 14.3v

5. all grounding connections(plus i added extra ones just incase

n.b- car is tuned on neptunes and it shows on the program that the battery voltage is 12's when the car is on and when the load is applied it drops to 11.4v-11.8v

any advice or help would be appreciated as this is now frustrating, or if anyone has a similar issue please share your experience.

Sounds like a short in an indicator lead or one of the lights.

Does it "dip" when either signal [left or right] is used and I assume you mean signal lights when you say indicator?

Does the "dip" also happen when using hazard lights? 94

yes the signal lights and either left or right is the same. and no it only happens with the signal lights, and if im in a higher gear and apply the throttle it stutters a little then picks up after(when load is applied)

yes all signal lights work everything works as normal just the dip in current for that second or so or when load is applied it has the stutter... what do you think may cause this issue?

Possibly a short in the signal light switch, it is the only thing not in the hazard light circuit, so if it does not happen with the hazards and only the signals, it points to the switch. 94
